Child Safety Standards

Exchange (Exchange: Couples & Singles) is published by Exchange Social App, LLC. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Effective: October 2, 2026
Child safety point of contact: childsafety@exchangesocialapp.com

1. Adults only

  • Exchange is strictly for people 18 and older. Everyone confirms their date of birth at sign-up, and under-18 accounts are blocked.
  • Where the law requires it, we verify age through a third-party provider.
  • Any account we find belongs to a minor is removed.

2. What is prohibited

We prohibit, remove and report:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
  • Any content that sexualizes minors, including drawn, simulated or AI-generated images.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Trafficking or exploitation of any person, and of minors in particular.

3. How we detect and prevent it

  • Known-CSAM matching: every uploaded photo is checked against known child sexual abuse material using Microsoft PhotoDNA. Matches are blocked.
  • Automated screening: uploads are also screened by an AI classifier for apparent minors and sexual content, and flagged items go to human review.
  • In-app reporting: every profile and chat has Report and Block. Child safety reports are reviewed first.
  • Enforcement: violating content is removed and the accounts involved are banned.

4. Reporting to authorities

When we find apparent CSAM, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline and preserve the material and related records as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. We cooperate with law enforcement under applicable law and valid legal process.

5. How to report a concern

  • In the app: tap Report on the profile, message or photo.
  • By email: childsafety@exchangesocialapp.com
  • By phone: (888) 996-1726 (automated line, 24/7; it will take a message and flag it as urgent)
  • If a child is in immediate danger: call 911 (in the US) or your local emergency number, and report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

6. Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws, including reporting obligations to NCMEC. These standards are maintained by Exchange Social App, LLC. See also our Safety page, Terms and Law Enforcement guidelines.
